Do you have a balanced diet?  Do you have time to think and plan healthy and nutritious meals to ensure you get the essentials your body requires to maintain its health and vitality?

In this workshop you will develop an understanding about the basic principles of healthy eating and how to create easy, delicious meals that are nutritious.  The workshop will also help you plan ahead by advising you on what healthy ingredients to stock.

Most of the meals you’ll learn to cook are vegetarian and many are dairy, wheat and gluten free.
The workshop lasts three hours, during which you will:
  • Learn why certain foods are considered healthy and others are not
  • Explore how & where to shop for healthy ingredients
  • Learn how to organise your kitchen
  • Get knowledge about the nutritional information of certain foods
  • Learn how to design yourself a weekly nutritious menu
  • Learn how to eat healthily - breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
All notes and recipes will be supplied with a delicious lunch.
